Relaxation and Self-Healing The importance of relaxation The art of relaxation is essential to be able to enjoy a healthy and happy life. It's easy to get so stressed that you are unable to unwind. When this happens you are more vulnerable to illness and relationship breakdown. In my work with individuals and groups I focus on self-awareness, to enable you to recognise your symptoms of stress and then do something about them. Symptoms can include irritability, sleeplessness, anxiety, panic attacks, alcohol or drug dependence, obsessive behaviour, and poor general health. There is a lot you can do to regain control of your well being, and using the Relaxation and Self Healing audio cassette offers several options. The tape contains meditative exercises to relax, revitalise and ground you, and is also now available as a CD.
I recorded the tape in response to the many requests I received from people who have experienced the benefits of the exercises first hand. I have used all the exercises with individuals and groups for many years, and know that they are often extremely helpful. You can listen and choose the techniques which suit you best. The tape is unique in that it is voice only - as music can often be distracting; people enjoy my soft English tones. Following the flow of my voice allows you to slowly unwind and find a source of energy and peace within.
